Most times when I arrive with the groom in the morning there is a few minutes spent working out how best to position the boutonnieres (despite the button hole in the lapel it's normally not pushed through there!) then we head off to the church or ceremony venue. Jonathan had suggested before the wedding if it was possible for the guys to take a detour via one of the beautiful beaches that Sandbanks has to offer and I agreed it was a great idea. We spent perhaps 15-20 minutes at the beach, not only a great location for photography but having something to do in the morning (apart from the pub) for the groom and ushers worked perfectly.
After the ceremony at St Mary's we headed to Castle Court school for their Dorset wedding reception venue, not before stopping off at the mill with the bridal party and ushers. This was our first time photographing a wedding at Castle Court and on arrival were blown away by the architectural details as well and the landscaped areas and planting, lucky to catch the spring time cherry blossoms in full bloom for some very romantic spring wedding photographs.
Totally enjoyed Liz and Jonathan's wedding day, very fun and relaxed for everyone and adding in extra time both in the morning for the guys and also between the end of the ceremony and the start of the wedding breakfast allowed for the trip to the mill, great planning guys! :)
Wish Liz and Jonathan many congratulations from Teri and I! :)
